Working with children both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, you will assist in delivering a stimulating programme of activities, whilst maintaining a caring and nurturing atmosphere. You will also assist in updating individual development plans, the preparing of development reports and keeping accurate records to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career working with children to gain valuable experience, and study towards a recognised childcare qualification if currently unqualified. Child care experience (in either a formal or informal setting) is a must, along with an understanding of the needs of children in a nursery setting. Above all, you should have good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with children.
