Teenage Sexual Health Personal Advisor

Permanent post, full time, £24,000 - £24,500 per anum, HAYES (West London)

We are seeking a committed individual to lead our teenage sexual health project based at our Tumbler Youth Centre, providing support to teenage mothers and young girls at risk of becoming pregnant.

As well as providing one to one support and delivering advice sessions, you will work in partnership with other agencies and WLYMCA staff to develop opportunities for education and training. Working within London Borough of Hillingdon’s Teenage Pregnancy Strategy, you will advise and guide service developments to address strategic priorities, promoting and developing links with other local agencies.

Extensive experience in youth work, or of working with young people in a related field such as health or education, is essential. Able to think and act strategically and develop effective partnerships, you will be ready to use your excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to make a real difference to the lives of young people.
