Permanent post, full time, £24,000 - £24,500, HAYES (West London)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to implement and lead a pilot project providing support and advice to young men aged 12 – 25, based at our Tumbler Youth Centre in Hayes.
You will work to engage young fathers in the community, delivering drop-in advice sessions, providing one to one support and facilitating access to training and other services. Developing and maintaining effective partnerships with other agencies will be a key part of this role, working towards wider strategic priorities and within existing local teenage pregnancy strategies.
You should have significant experience in youth work, or a related field such as social care. A professional qualification in education or youth / community work would be advantageous. Good organisational skills and the ability to develop and maintain partnerships are essential, along with a profound understanding of the issues facing young people.
