Half term: 16 - 20 February 2015
Can we try a class before committing?
You are welcome to bring your child to try out a class for free first – we all know how unpredictable kids can be…
Just ask at reception for a trial class voucher.
How and when do I schedule a class?
Classes booked for the term are automatically booked for each week of the remainder of the term.
Pay As You Go class vouchers can be scheduled up to 24 hours before the class starts. Schedule a class on your Mindbody account under the 'My info' tab, click 'My schedule'. Classes need to be scheduled or booked online more than 24hours prior to the start of the class.
When can I start, have I missed the beginning?
You can enrol your child at any time, whether or not it’s the start of term.
Why would I enrol my child in activity classes?
You’ll want your child to interact with young people their own age while learning new skills, building confidence and doing something they enjoy.
You’ll also want this to happen in a nurturing, focused environment where you can be sure they are really engaging in and getting as much as they can out of the activity.
What are the benefits?
- enhancing your child's motor skills, balance, coordination and sense of rhythm
- channelling pent-up energy and developing discipline and concentration
- developing confidence and self-assurance
- experiencing our expertise – our YMCA has worked with young people to develop mind, body and spirit since 1870
- exploring an enjoyment of exercise from an early age
- making friends and having fun
Something for the parents…
Post drop-off or pre-pickup, you can sip on a coffee while meeting other parents in our on-site community café, Y two five. It also has a garden and indoor play corner if the little one joins you.
What’s the price?
There are 2 ways to pay. Read more about these on the prices page linked.

What other parents have said
Belinda says: “Joseph loves Gym Kids. He’s learning balance, body awareness and spatial awareness. He is also developing good listening skills and the confidence to let go of his mother. I’ve noticed that he’s much better at socialising with other children. My daughter didn’t do these classes, and now I wish she had.”
“I think West London YMCA’s approach is about nurturing and developing each child, and encouraging them, not pushing them. The teachers are fantastic with a real gift for teaching little ones, genuinely caring.”
